Huff Brown has cited the Biden Administration’s poor handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal as one of the key reasons for jumping in the race for New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District

RYE, NH- Today, 1st Congressional Candidate Gail Huff Brown called on Chris Pappas to disavow comments made by the State Department regarding a recent meeting with the Taliban.

“The Biden Administration’s continued praise of the Taliban is setting a disastrous example that America is no longer going to hold terrorists accountable for their crimes against humanity,” said Huff Brown.

“It was this administration that led a poorly-planned pullout, ultimately costing 13 American soldiers their lives, and leaving a still unknown number of Americans behind in a terrorist-controlled country.

“I’m calling on Chris Pappas to disavow the State Department’s comments, and call on the Biden Administration to treat the Taliban as what they are: a terrorist organization with a poor record on human rights, especially with women and LGBTQ individuals,” concluded Huff Brown.
