Congressman Cohen Announces $593,000 National Science Foundation Grant to the University of Memphis

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Memphis will receive a $593,239 grant from the National Science Foundation underwriting a project involving three-dimensional super-resolution light microscopy of thick, unprocessed biological samples.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I’m always pleased to see funding for the complex science being done at the University of Memphis engineering and computer labs. This large and prestigious grant award will advance our knowledge of microscopy and lead over time to important discoveries.”
