Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that two Memphis community health centers will together receive $6,288,593 from the Department of Health and Human Services. Memphis Health Center will receive $5,039,393 and Tri-State Community Health Center will receive $1,249,200.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I’m very pleased that we continue to invest in our community health centers, which have become such critical resources for the under-served in our community, particularly during this pandemic. I was proud to announce last month a major infusion of financial assistance to community health centers made possible by the American Rescue Plan Act that I voted for. This substantial funding will make significant and tangible improvements in health outcomes in Memphis.”
