Congressman Cohen Announces $1.4 Million in Cancer Research Grants to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive two grants totaling $1,473,078 from the National Cancer Institute. One grant, for $742,807 is for research on patient-generated health data to predict childhood cancer survivorship outcomes. The other, for $730,271, is for integrating systems immunology with immunometabolism and cancer immunity.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I am always pleased to see our National Institutes of Health investing in the critical research being done at St. Jude. This grant funding will increase understanding of childhood cancers and ultimately save lives.”
