Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $215,816 grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for work on training in the design and development of infectious disease therapeutics.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“I am pleased that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are investing in infectious disease prevention training at our premiere children’s research hospital. This kind of preparation, in light of what we have learned from the ongoing pandemic, is critical for the safety of patients and hospital personnel.”
