Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $1,750,578 grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke for “Dissecting the role of NEU1-dependent de-sialylation in neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation.”
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“I am pleased that the National Institutes of Health are investing significant funding to better understand and treat neurological disorders. This funding will ultimately ease pain and lead to a better quality of life.”
