Alex Mooney for Congress: Announces Nearly $7 Million In DHHR Funding

CHARLESTON – Congressman Alex X. Mooney today announced $6,987,290 in U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) grants to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) for state health programs.

“This federal funding will continue to assist the West Virginia DHHR with both COVID-19 testing and mitigation as well as maternal and child health services programs offered under their department,” said Congressman Mooney. “The pandemic has highlighted just how important the West Virginia DHHR’s programs are to the health needs of our people, and I’m proud to announce this funding to support their efforts. I will coninue working in Congress to secure funding and resources to our state health agencies.”
