Pelosi protégé who wrote plan to defund Cincinnati police and hurt small businesses as they recovered from pandemic is wrong for Ohio's First District
Congressman Steve Chabot’s campaign issued the following statement Wednesday on the start of the General Election for Ohio’s First Congressional District.
“This race will be a referendum on the staggeringly out-of-touch record of former Nancy Pelosi staffer Greg Landsman and his mentor’s radical agenda that has hit hardworking families with higher prices for everyday essentials like groceries and gas,” Chabot campaign advisor Jon Conradi said. “While Congressman Steve Chabot was working hard to support small businesses and families through the pandemic, Pelosi protege Greg Landsman was breaking the law and advancing an extreme partisan agenda on the city council, that included plans to defund the Cincinnati police and ban menu items from restaurants — just as they were trying to regain their footing post-pandemic.”
“Landsman’s record and platform is one-in-the-same with the anti-business, soft-on-crime, inflation-fueling agenda of Nancy Pelosi and would be wrong for Ohio’s First District,” Conradi added.
