Congressman Cohen Announces National Science Foundation Grant to the University of Memphis

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Memphis will receive a $450,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled “Multimodal Signaling and Communication Analysis of World Leaders” under the direction of Research Assistant Professor Leah Windsor.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I congratulate the University of Memphis and Professor Windsor on this prestigious National Science Foundation grant award. Research into the communications skills of world leaders will ultimately improve our understanding of their motivations, preferences, and beliefs.”
