Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) recognized the annual Labor Day holiday Monday with the following statement:

“Working people are the backbone of this country and they have been through some unique challenges in the past year and a half. Many have lost jobs because of the pandemic and are struggling to regain employment. Many essential and frontline workers have gone above and beyond in their jobs and faced hazardous conditions at work. Many others have dealt with the change of working from home. American workers deserve our praise and encouragement on this Labor Day and every other day. I wish all my constituents a safe and happy holiday.”
