-- Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a $380,000 grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke to conduct research on epileptic seizures.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“I am always pleased to announce funding from the National Institutes of Health for medical research being undertaken in Memphis. This grant will help scientists better understand epilepsy and will ultimately improve patient outcomes.”
