Tennessee

Congressman Steve Cohen released the following statement commemorating this year’s Thanksgiving holiday:

“I wish all my friends, neighbors and constituents a very Happy Thanksgiving. This year, as we gradually return to the traditions associated with this most American of holidays, let’s all give thanks for what we have: our health, our friends and family, legally protected freedoms, work worth doing, resilient communities, and anything else for which we are grateful. Our traditional family get-togethers have been confounded by this pandemic. I hope everyone will continue to remain mindful of the precautions set by medical professionals that we all should heed, especially indoors among those who are unvaccinated or whose vaccine status is unclear. For those traveling ‘over the river and through the woods,’ I hope you will exercise caution. I am honored to represent Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District and look forward to continuing to advance its interests in Washington. Happy Thanksgiving.”
