Congressman Cohen Announces HUD Grant to Hire Self-Sufficiency Coordinator

 Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the Memphis Housing Authority will receive a grant of $244,513 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to hire one service coordinator under its Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency Service Coordinators (ROSS-SC) Program.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“Often public housing residents need some help navigating the services available to them. This grant will improve the lives of many who can connect to training and services that lead to self-sufficiency.”
