Congressman Cohen Announces Additional Funding for Youth Homelessness Prevention

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that a Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program operated by the Community Alliance for the Homeless will receive an additional $86,929 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), raising the total award to $3,819,948. The original grant award was announced in September.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“Homelessness is a serious problem in our community and homeless young people often miss opportunities that would lead to more productive and healthy lives. This HUD grant is a good investment in the future of our community.”
