"Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court is historic. Not only will she be the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court if confirmed, she has been confirmed by the Senate on a bipartisan basis three times. She is of sound legal mind, has exceptional credentials, and possesses a terrific record. I am excited with President Biden's selection and urge the Senate to move forward with her nomination process in a swift manner."
