I support legal immigration for those who love and appreciate this country, and are willing to work hard to achieve the American Dream.

While I believe in helping people with temporary assistance when needed, whether they are an immigrant or a natural born citizen, I do not support illegal immigration or taking advantage of the assistance our country offers.

To resolve this issue, we need to secure the border and then provide a path to citizenship for all those in good standing. Doing so prior to securing the border will only entice more illegal immigration.

We also need to create entry points along the border where people can more easily receive the information and assistance that they need to legally enter this country for a better life.

Lastly, we need to love and respect all people as children of God, regardless of language or race; we are all Americans.
