Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $416,325 grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to conduct research on apoptosis and tumor suppression. Congressman Cohen also announced a separate NCI grant to St. Jude on Wednesday.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“The research supported by these National Cancer Institute grants will further our understanding of cancer causes and treatments. I know that St. Jude will put this research funding to good use.”
