Suzanne Bonamici: A win for Oregon women

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Here's a phrase I don't want to say in the future: "as the only woman in the Oregon delegation..." We just had our primary election, and Oregon Democrats overwhelmingly said yes to women in Congress.

Andrea Salinas, Val Hoyle, and Jamie McLeod-Skinner won their primary elections, and now Oregonians have the opportunity to send a record number of Oregon women to the U. S. House!

This is a win for Oregonians and for Congress.

We need strong and highly-motivated leaders who will stand up to the gun lobby, protect reproductive rights, and fight to take action on climate change.

But it won't be easy. National Republican groups are targeting Oregon this year in their effort to win back the House.

That's why Andrea, Val, Jamie, and I are counting on grassroots supporters to help us win in November. Will you chip in now to support sending four Oregon Democratic women to Congress?
