Today, Congresswoman Lisa McClain (R-MI) announced she was appointed to the Republican Task Force on Jobs and the Economy by Leader Kevin McCarthy.

“I’m excited to begin finding solutions to help our economy recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, alongside my colleagues on the Jobs and the Economy Task Force,” said Rep. McClain. “Unfortunately, President Biden and Speaker Pelosi are pushing policies that encourage workers to stay home and are preventing the economic recovery our country needs to succeed. I look forward to working on policies to help our small business prosper and get America back up and running.”

The Jobs and the Economy Task Force will be led by Congressman Patrick McHenry, ranking member of the House Committee on Financial Services. 18 Republican members from across the country will serve on this task force.
