Congressman Cohen Announces Research Grant to St. Jude

 Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $617,417 grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to study the pan-genome of Streptococcus pneumoniae.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I am always pleased to see the National Institutes of Health investing in medical research at our premier children’s research hospital. The work this grant will support will broaden our understanding of disease and lead to better health outcomes for children.”
