WASHINGTON – On the heels of worsening jobs numbers and rampant inflation, U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) is calling on the Biden administration to address the crises facing American families rather than pursuing a radical agenda that forces Arkansans to fork over more of their hard-earned money to Uncle Sam.

“Instead of addressing the problems that Americans are so concerned about, Democrats are doubling down with bad ideas and then forcing Americans to pay for those bad ideas,” Boozman said at a Senate press conference. “The American public realizes that these things are totally out of step with their concerns.”

The senator continued, “No Republican has had any input. Nor have any of the stakeholders. The idea that we’d go forward with this massive bill, and essentially do it unilaterally, is unheard of.”

Boozman is continuing to fight against the president’s reckless tax-and-spending bill. He has rallied agriculture groups to oppose measures like stepped-up basis and the land swap tax that would have negatively impacted Arkansas farm families. The senator has also pushed back against proposals to increase IRS bank account surveillance while ignoring the agency’s customer service problems.
