"The allegations at the Beckley VA Medical Center are the latest in a long, unacceptable pattern of wrongdoing and neglect. I personally spoke with VA Secretary McDonough about this situation earlier this week, and I am committed to working with him and my colleagues to demand answers, accountability, and transparency. West Virginia's brave veterans, along with the hardworking Beckley VA doctors, nurses, administrators, support staff, and the entire community deserve better. We must ensure our veterans are receiving the best care available and this never happens again."
