Today, Derrick Anderson, candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 7th District, announced a Get-Out-The-Vote Event in Prince William County with combat veteran and VA-10 nominee Hung Cao.

       Hung Cao endorsed Derrick Anderson after winning his nomination for Congress just a few weeks ago and had this to say: “It’s not the time for bureaucrats and politicians in Congress. It’s time for warriors like Derrick Anderson who will continue to fight for our constitution. I’ll be proud to stand beside him in Congress.”

       DerrickAnderson is a native of Spotsylvania County, a graduate of Courtland High School, was in the Corps of Cadets at Virginia Tech, and received his J.D. from Georgetown Law.  He is a former Special Forces “Green Beret” with 6 tours of duty overseas, including Afghanistan, Iraq, and various countries throughout the Middle East. Derrick was the first VA-07 candidate named to the Young Gun’s “On the Radar” list, and is being supported by SealPAC and multiple sitting members of Congress, including the only Green Beret in Congress, Mike Waltz and U.S. Senator Tom Cotton.
