In the latest episode of Tennessee Talks, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) chats with Eric Flannery, owner of The Big Board in Washington, D.C. Mr. Flannery’s restaurant was forced out of business for refusing to comply with the local government’s coronavirus regulations, like vaccine and mask mandates.

“Eric bravely served our nation in the U.S. Navy and The Big Board was how he made an honest living,” Rep. Burchettsaid. “Everyone – regardless of vaccination status or anything else – was always welcome at The Big Board, but the D.C. government felt Eric’s business was a threat to the community. Eric is fighting for what is right, and I hope his story inspires other small business owners to stand up to ridiculous government mandates wherever they exist.”
