Today, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) released the following statement addressing the leak of the Supreme Court of the United States’ first draft opinion in the Dobbs v. Jackson case:
"I believe this is a terrible move by left-wing operatives to endanger the justices’ lives by leaking this first draft of an opinion to the press. I’m pro-life and absolutely support Roe v. Wade being overturned, but there’s no excuse for political intimidation like this. I’m calling on FBI Director Wray to investigate where these leaks came from so whoever is responsible can be held accountable."
