“President Trump had to start from scratch to fight COVID-19. Last year President Trump gifted President Biden Operation Warp Speed, which delivered safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics for the American people in record time. As a result of President Trump’s leadership and Congressional Republicans, around one million Americans were getting vaccinated each day by their own choice. Yet, with President Biden’s complete mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen shortages of COVID-19 therapeutics, confusing and politically compromised COVID-19 guidance, and overreaching mandates that undermine vaccine confidence and exacerbate labor shortages. President Biden deserves an ‘F’ for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Guthrie.
