Carol Miller for Congress: Statement on Vote Against House Democrats’ Partisan Infrastructure Bill

West Virginia

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) today released the following statement after voting against House Democrats' partisan infrastructure bill:

"I voted against House Democrats' infrastructure package because it doesn't meet the needs of communities in West Virginia and across the country. This bill is bad for our economy, particularly for rural America. It will add more to inflation, and threaten the livelihoods of West Virginia energy workers and their families. We are in desperate need of real infrastructure investment to create jobs, increase energy exports, support rural communities, and rebuild our crumbling roads and bridges. Unfortunately, House Democrats' bill proves they care more about passing radical Green New Deal policies than improving America's infrastructure."
