Carol Miller for Congress: Statement on Biden's Address to Congress and First 100 Days

West Virginia

WASHINGTON D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) released the following statement regarding President Biden's first 100 days in office following his first address to a joint session of Congress:

"It's extremely disappointing that President Biden's first 100 days prove his administration is one of open borders, job-killing tax hikes, blatant partisan legislation, and continued attacks on America's energy industry. The President has forsaken his campaign promise for "unity," and has instead rammed through AOC-Pelosi-Schumer socialist agenda items with a record-breaking 41 executive orders and packages by passing or circumventing any Republican input.

"At a time when our nation desperately needs true, realistic leadership from Washington, I urge the administration to curtail its radical agenda and work across the aisle for families, workers, and job-creators in West Virginia and across the country. We need to come together on issues we should all agree on – defeating COVID-19, rebuilding our roads, bridges, and infrastructure, reopening schools, getting Americans back into the workforce, and reigniting our economy."
