Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today issued the following statement after President Biden announced Rashad Hussain as his nominee for Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom.

In May, Rep. Hill and Senator James Lankford (R-OK) led a bicameral, bipartisan letter to President Biden urging him to nominate someone to the position of Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom.

The letter was signed by Senators Jacky Rosen (D-NV), Roy Blunt (R-MO), and Marco Rubio (R-FL), and by Congressmen Juan Vargas (D-CA), Gus Bilirakis (R-FL), and Henry Cuellar (D-TX).
