French Hill for Congress: REP. HILL TO HOST PRESS CONFERENCE TOMORROW

On Friday, August 6, 2021, at 1:30 PM CT, Rep. French Hill (AR-02), will hold a press conference to discuss plans to introduce forthcoming legislation.

Rep. Hill will be joined by Dr. Carlos Clark, President, Arkansas Baptist College; Jerome Green, President, Shorter College; Dr. Laurence B. Alexander, Chancellor, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff; Dr. Roderick L. Smothers, Sr., President Philander Smith College;  Solomon Graves, Secretary of Corrections, Arkansas Deparment of Corrections; Scott McLean, Founder/Executive Director, Pathway to Freedom; and TJ West, Re-Entry Liasion, Pathway to Freedom. 

Rep. Hill will announce plans to reintroduce an updated version of the Shift Back to Society Act – legislation to help those who have been incarcerated transition back into society and find employment. 

The event will be open to members of the press.
