Rep. French Hill (AR-02) issued the following statement after voting against H.R. 4, Democrats’ latest federal power grab over state-administered elections.

“I support voting rights and I always have, and Congress had an opportunity to address voting rights in a bipartisan way, but Speaker Pelosi’s top-down, go-at-it-alone approach to governing resulted in yet another attempt at an unprecedented federal power grab over state-administered elections,” said Rep. Hill. “It is disappointing to see legislation that should have been bipartisan to protect our elections become an unconstitutional partisan power grab.”
