Rep. French Hill (AR-02), issued the following statement after voting against House Democrats’ radical abortion up to birth legislation:
“As a man of faith and as a father, I could not in good conscience vote to support a bill that would allow abortion on demand up to birth. This bill is a gross overreach by the federal government to preempt state rights by overriding and removing nearly all pro-life protections for the unborn at the state and federal level. We should protect every life, no matter how small, and I remain committed to this fight.”
