French Hill for Congress: MONDAY – REP. HILL TO HOST ARKANSAS HBCU SUMMIT

On Monday, October 4, 2021, from 8:30 AM CT – 2:00 PM CT, Rep. French Hill (AR-02), will host the 2021 Arkansas Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Summit at Philander Smith College in Little Rock.

Following the HBCU Summit, Rep. Hill will be hosting a small job fair for Arkansas HBCU students which will run from 2:00 PM CT-5:00 PM CT.

Rep. Hill will be joined by Rep. Alma Adams (NC-12), founder and co-chair of the HBCU Caucus; Dr. Roderick L. Smothers, Sr., President, Philander Smith College; Dr. Carlos Clark, President, Arkansas Baptist College; O. Jerome Green, President, Shorter College; and Dr. Laurence B. Alexander, Chancellor, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

The event will also feature a keynote speaker, Asahi Pompey, Partner, Global Head of Corporate Engagement & President of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, Goldman Sachs.

The event will be open to members of the press.
