Rep. French Hill (AR-02) today released the following statement after Amnesty International released a report condemning Israel and accusing the nation of apartheid.

“Amnesty International’s charges of apartheid against Israel appear not based in fact and are frankly disgraceful. The U.S. must continue our nation’s long history of support for our strongest ally in the region, and I was pleased to see U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides swiftly categorize Amnesty International’s claims as ‘absurd.’ I will continue to stand with Israel and their efforts to bring peace and stability to the region.”
