“It’s an honor to have earned the endorsement of Sheriff Barrett, who has been a leader in public safety in Wisconsin,” said Lt. Governor and U.S. Senate candidate Mandela Barnes. “In the Senate, I’ll strive to make Sheriff Barrett’s job easier by making sure law enforcement has the resources they need to keep us safe and finally making necessary investments in preventing crime from happening in the first place.”

“Mandela Barnes knows that to truly keep people safe, we need to stop crime from happening in the first place with good jobs, good schools, and good neighborhoods,” said Dane County Sheriff Kalvin Barrett. “I trust Mandela to support our law enforcement officers with resources and training.
