A leaked draft decision from the Supreme Court has finally admitted that Roe v. Wade was an exercise of raw judicial power. Congressional candidate Manuel P. Asensio has harshly criticized the Supreme Court for imposing this fabricated judicial policy for nearly fifty years. Mr. Asensio has also attacked Congressman Jim Jordan for standing by and doing nothing.
“Like many Americans, I am dismayed that it took so long to overturn this plainly absurd policy decision,” Mr. Asensio stated. “The costs of this mistake to our society are immeasurable: millions of innocent lives lost, tens of millions of teenage girls pushed toward promiscuity, and billions of dollars were wasted on lawyers and politicians to undo the Supreme Court’s madness. It is a travesty of justice that the Supreme Court caused so much harm over five decades while Congress stood by and did nothing.”
Mr. Asensio is sounding the alarm about the Supreme Court’s plan to continue to break the law by enforcing its own policy decisions. The Supreme Court’s draft decision also states: “Nothing in this opinion should be understood to cast doubt on precedents that do not concern abortion.” In short, the Supreme Court has stated it intends to keep operating as a policymaking institution.
“We cannot wait another 50 years to fix the Supreme Court’s mistakes,” stated Mr. Asensio. “Roe v. Wade is just one example of how the Supreme Court oversteps its authority by engaging in national policy-making. There are many other examples, such as the Domestic Relations Exemption, that are undermining our democracy and robbing the American people of their liberty, economic prosperity, and stability. We need a solution now.”
Mr. Asensio has criticized Congressman Jim Jordan for his complicity in allowing the Supreme Court to engage in national policy-making. Mr. Asensio has called on Congressman Jordan to join him in introducing the Eva Asensio Anti-Judicial Corruption Act of 2023, which was designed to end judicial policy-making and hold those judges accountable for ruining our Constitution.
