RALEIGH: Today, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley traveled to Pitt County, North Carolina to meet with voters and visit three locally-owned and operated small businesses to hear directly from North Carolinians on the issues that matter most to them.
“In Greenville, I heard from so many North Carolinians who are working hard just to make ends meet as costs skyrocket. We need a Senator in Washington who will fight to lower costs, support small businesses, and create an economy that works for everyone — and that’s exactly what I’ll fight for in the Senate,” Cheri Beasley said.
Beasley visited three locally-owned businesses in downtown Greenville – Coffee + Spice, The Scullery, and Molly’s Community Cafe. Beasley spoke with the owners of each business about their experiences navigating the pandemic and her commitment to standing up for small businesses in the U.S. Senate.
In Greenville, Beasley hosted “Conversations with Cheri,” a community conversation with North Carolinians at Coffee + Spice. Beasley highlighted her commitment to standing up for North Carolinians and addressing the issues important to them – lowering costs, increasing access to affordable health care, growing good-paying jobs, and more.
