In the interview, Beasley discussed how her own experiences have informed her decision to run for U.S. Senate, sharing:

“My husband Curt and I raised our sons, twin sons in North Carolina in a home steeped in faith. I’ve been a Chief Justice and a judge and spent my life in public service in North Carolina, really working hard for folks. And I know that Washington has failed the people here in North Carolina and I’m fighting to make sure we address the issues people care deeply about around lowering costs and affordable health care and voting rights and so much more.”
