RALEIGH: Today, the North Carolina Association of Educators announced their endorsement of Cheri Beasley for U.S. Senate. NCAE is a state affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest professional employee organization. 

“Our educators inspire, protect, and guide our children – and I am so grateful to have the support of the North Carolina Association of Educators,” said Cheri Beasley. “In Washington, I will fight for stronger and safer schools for all of our children and resources that help our students and educators succeed.” 

“We are thrilled to endorse Cheri Beasley because she’s an advocate for public education, a champion for justice, and the fighter we need in the U.S. Senate,” said Tamika Walker Kelly, President of NCAE. “Cheri Beasley is the clear choice for educators, parents, and public education supporters across North Carolina.”

NCAE joins over 200 leaders in endorsing Beasley for U.S. Senate, including Governor Roy Cooper, Attorney General Josh Stein, all Democratic members of North Carolina’s congressional delegation, more than 100 faith leaders across the state, and key organizations including NC State AFL-CIO, EMILY’s List, Congressional Black Caucus PAC, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, End Citizens United// Let America Vote, Higher Heights for America PAC, The Collective PAC. Beasley has outraised every candidate for U.S. Senate in North Carolina since entering the race.
