Giffords PAC Endorses Cheri Beasley for U.S. Senate

RALEIGH: Today, Giffords PAC announced their endorsement of Cheri Beasley for U.S. Senate. Giffords PAC is a gun violence prevention organization founded by former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

“Cheri Beasley embodies all the qualities of a selfless and dedicated public servant. She’s had an exemplary career on the bench, and I know she will work just as hard in the Senate for the people of North Carolina. Ending gun violence is possible as long as we elect leaders who have the courage to stand up to the gun lobby and work to secure the gun safety legislation we desperately need. Cheri Beasley is one of those leaders. We need Cheri Beasley in the US Senate and I am proud to endorse her candidacy today,” said former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

“Every North Carolinian deserves to feel safe in their homes, schools and communities, and I’m grateful to earn the endorsement of Giffords PAC as we work toward this goal. In the Senate, I will work alongside them to end gun violence,” said Cheri Beasley.

The Giffords PAC joins over 200 leaders in endorsing Beasley for U.S. Senate, including Governor Roy Cooper, Attorney General Josh Stein, all Democratic members of North Carolina’s congressional delegation, more than 100 faith leaders across the state, and key organizations including NC State AFL-CIO, EMILY’s List, Congressional Black Caucus PAC, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, End Citizens United// Let America Vote, Higher Heights for America PAC, The Collective PAC. Beasley has outraised every candidate for U.S. Senate in North Carolina since entering the race.
