RALEIGH: Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley’s campaign raised over $3.6 million in the first quarter of 2022, and announced more than $5.1 million cash-on-hand. North Carolinians from all 100 counties contributed to the campaign, and 91% of donations were $100 or less.

“North Carolinians are throwing their support behind Cheri because they know she will be an independent voice that fights for North Carolina in the U.S. Senate,” said Travis Brimm, Campaign Manager for Cheri Beasley for North Carolina. “We are grateful for the overwhelming support this campaign has received, which ensures we will have the resources to continue building a campaign that can win this November.”

Beasley has outraised every single candidate since she entered the race last April. She has also earned the support of key leaders across the state, including Governor Roy Cooper, all Democratic members of the state’s congressional delegation, Attorney General Josh Stein, over 100 faith leaders, as well as major organizations including the North Carolina AFL-CIO, the North Carolina Association of Educators, EMILY’s List, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Congressional Black Caucus PAC, The Collective PAC, Higher Heights for America, End Citizens United/Let America Vote, and more.
