RALEIGH: Today, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley visited the High Point Furniture Market to speak with manufacturers and business owners about the importance of supporting the manufacturing industry and creating good-paying jobs in North Carolina. 

“It was wonderful to spend the day meeting with North Carolina manufacturers and businesses at the High Point Furniture Market today. The High Point Furniture Market showcases North Carolina as a leader in manufacturing, and we must continue to invest in and support this critical industry. In the Senate, I will be a strong partner to our North Carolina manufacturers, and I will fight for a strong economy that strengthens our businesses and creates good-paying jobs in our state,” said Cheri Beasley.

Beasley visited with Tom Conley, the president of the High Point Furniture Market, and the business leaders of the Phillips Collection, headquartered in High Point; Vanguard Furniture, headquartered in Hickory; Valdese Weavers, headquartered in Valdese; as well as other furniture makers and key industry leaders.
