RALEIGH: Today, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley met with voters in Gaston County to discuss the need to lower costs and expand access to affordable health care. Beasley listened as voters spoke on the issues that matter most to them and shared her experience as a mother of twins and former public defender, judge and Chief Justice who spent over twenty five years serving citizens here in North Carolina.

“In Gaston County, I heard from people about the challenges they’re facing, from feeling pain at the pump to the rising costs of groceries. One thing is clear – people want more than what they’re seeing from Washington. In the Senate, I’ll stand up for the people in Gastonia and beyond to make real change for North Carolina,” said Cheri Beasley.
