RALEIGH: Today, Cheri Beasley toured Catawba Valley Community College’s (CVCC) Workforce Solutions complex in Hickory to discuss their programs that prepare students for careers in manufacturing and other in-demand technical skills, and their work to create a pipeline for future talent in these critical industries.

“CVCC’s Workforce Solutions program is doing critical work to prepare North Carolinians for high-paying careers in critical industries like manufacturing and engineering,” said Cheri Beasley. “In the Senate, I will fight for programs like this one to strengthen our Made-in-America economy here in North Carolina and ensure people have the skills they need for successful careers.”
