This weekend, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley met with voters in Davidson, Alamance, and Person Counties to discuss the need to lower costs, expand access to affordable health care, and create good-paying jobs in their communities.

“As I continue to travel the state, I hear from families who are tired of politics as usual and are looking for Washington to take action to lower costs, make health care more affordable, and implement Paid Family Leave and affordable child care. I’m committed to doing that work in the U.S. Senate to help North Carolina communities across the state thrive,” said Cheri Beasley.

Last week, Beasley traveled to Alexander and Lincoln counties to hear from voters as they spoke on the issues that matter most to them and shared her experience as a mother of twins and former public defender, judge and Chief Justice who spent over two decades serving North Carolinians.
