Yesterday, Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Cheri Beasley joined Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC’s The Last Word to discuss the reports of the Supreme Court’s plans to overturn Roe v. Wade.

During the interview, Beasley shared her expertise as a former judge and Chief Justice, underscoring that women have a constitutional right to make choices about their families and bodies – without government interference.

Beasley highlighted the magnitude of this election, noting that while she will always fight to protect constitutional rights, every Republican in the North Carolina Senate race supports bans or restrictions on reproductive freedom.
