On Wednesday, April 20, 2022, U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick will hold a campaign rally with U.S. Secretary of State under President Trump, Mike Pompeo, at the Frosty Valley Resort in Danville, PA. U.S. Congressman Dan Meuser (R-PA-09) will also give introductory remarks.

Secretary Pompeo has endorsed Dave to be the next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, stating, “Dave McCormick is a warrior, from the battlefield to the negotiating table, and I’ve seen his toughness in action since we were together at the United States Military Academy. The people of Pennsylvania need someone who will fight for them in the U.S. Senate — someone who will stand up to the radical Left and push back against the failed policies of the Biden administration. That’s the kind of senator Dave will be. He will push for strong borders and confront the Chinese Communist Party head-on, defend life and our Second Amendment, and work tirelessly to restore America’s energy independence. That’s why I’m proud to give him my support and endorsement."

Dave is honored to have Secretary Pompeo’s continued support, a fellow West Point grad, and is thankful Pompeo believes he is the right candidate to fight on behalf of Pennsylvanians, stand up to our adversaries like China and hold them accountable, and restore U.S. strength and leadership on the world stage.

Dave McCormick was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania where his family owned a farm. A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Dave served in the All-American 82nd Airborne Division during the Gulf War. He’s run two successful businesses, FreeMarkets and Bridgewater Associates, the former creating hundreds of jobs and economic revitalization for the Steel City. Dave also stood up for the U.S. and went toe-to-toe in trade negotiations with our adversaries, like China, during his time as Under Secretary at the Commerce and Treasury departments, and he was appointed by President Trump to serve on the Defense Policy Board at the Pentagon.
