WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Hill (AR-02) issued the following statement today, following the release of President Biden’s proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2023:

“In the midst of economic uncertainty and inflation at a 40-year high, President Biden proposed a budget for 2023 that doubles down on what he and the Democrats know best: when out of ideas, just spend. Further wasteful spending is not the solution to the economic crisis facing our nation today. It’s time to get our fiscal house in order, and I urge President Biden and Democrats in Congress to work with Republicans to create a budget favoring the American people and focused on fighting inflation, lowering gas and grocery prices, and getting our citizens fully back to work."
