Neal Applauds VA Decision to Keep Leeds Medical Center Open

Today, Congressman Richard E. Neal, Chair of the House Committee on Ways and Means released the following statement after learning of the news that the VA would not consider closing the VA Medical Center in Leeds, Massachusetts.

"Chairman Jim McGovern and I worked hard to ensure that the VA Medical Center in Leeds would stay open and the news that it will indeed continue to operate as usual is encouraging. Veterans and their loved ones will be able to rest assured knowing that the care they have always depended on will continue to be there for years to come."
