House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed the Formula Act:

“The formula shortage has been unnerving for parents across the country, and House Democrats are using every tool in our toolbox to make sure families have access to what they need. In conjunction with the Biden Administration, we have already made significant progress in easing worries and filling our supply chain shortages. This legislation, led by our Trade Subcommittee, will take another step to make formula more affordable for families, and I urge the Senate to take it up immediately.”
